The project
The family required additional space on a limited budget. The logical place for this accommodation was to the side, maintaining the garden to the rear. The proposal did not require planning permission as it was only a small side extension which fitted with in the permitted development rights.
How we worked
We were asked to prepare building regulations drawings as the client was confident that the extension would fit within permitted development and wanted to keep any design costs to a minimum.
Project success
The client has drastically improved the project and at a low cost by doing a lot of the work himself. We think the photograph of the finished project speaks for itself.
